“Oh, it’s easy to get 20,000 people to love you.” — Juliette

A little bit of ‘Days of our Lives’ but set to country music. I’m not a fan of country and/or western, but I adore the music in this show. Has a bit of a predictable story line, but with some hot fellas to perv at, and enough Aussies in there to keep it interesting, once you start watching, you won’t want to stop! It got canned at the end of the last season, but there was a worldwide uproar about it – and it has now been picked up by another producer and channel.

Plot: Rayna James (Connie Britton) is the Queen of Country Music in Nashville, but to stay relevant, she needs to reinvent herself, and her show. Enter Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) who is a talented pain in the arse singer that likes to squish everyone around her.

Look out for: Jonathon Jackson. He is so freaking adorable as ‘Avery’. He is what every woman wants! Clare Bowen is awesome as Scarlett, and she is an Aussie girl!

Best Parts: The songs are awesome, and it makes you want to go to Nashville.

Worst Part: The storyline can be so predictable, but it’s a bit like heroin (so I’ve heard) and you just keep wanting more!

Why we love it:

“It is an epic saga of mammoth proportions, and probably the best tv show ever made.”

“Winter is Coming…”

It isn’t the most talked about epic television show of all time for no reason! It isn’t the kind of show you watch whilst tending to kids, you need to pay attention to keep up with all the story lines and characters going on – but it is just simply a masterpiece and perhaps the best television series in history!

Plot: Literally a ‘Game of Thrones’. Five different families fighting to gain control of the throne.

Look out for: Dragons and nudity.

Best Parts: The costumes, the plot, the story – every part of this is just brilliant.

Worst Part: It isn’t on every night of the week.

Why we love it:

“It isn’t a secret I love Supernatural – it is currently in its very last season (the last season is a bit shit…) – but the early days were awesome.  Think The X-Files with hot boys.”

“I’ll interrogate the cat.” — Castiel

Now about to debut its 12th season, Supernatural is one of my all time favourites. Think The X-Files – but with hot brothers. It just gets better every season without fail.

Plot: Supernatural is about two brothers, the Winchesters who are ‘Hunters’ who fight everything that goes ‘bump’ in the night. They even befriend an Angel who wears a trench coat and has no idea how to act like a human. The King of Hell is also so likeable!

Best Parts: Jensen Ackles and Jared Padeleckii who play the leads, are best friends in real life, and it really shows. Well acted, and they don’t take themselves too seriously.

Best Episode: ‘The French Mistake’

Worst Parts: None. There are a huge 22 episodes in every season!

Why we love it:

“If you work in the tech industry or own your own business, you will get a huge laugh out of this show. ”

A hilarious comedy romp about a start-up tech company located in Silicon Valley. If you have anything to do with the internet business, you will love this show!

He has programmers, investors and assistants who help and hinder his progress – but he has no idea what he is doing. Plus their competition ‘Hooli’ is trying their best to wipe them out!

Okay, the idea of this show sounds so confusing – but hang in there – it is worth the ride! I didn’t like the book so didn’t watch the series for ages, until I got sick and there wasn’t anything else to watch. Yes, it is hot. The sex scenes are sublime. Yes, the red-haired Scotsman is totally adorable. The plot is about a nurse in the British Army called Claire Randall who gets transported back in time to 1743. Longmire is based on a series of novels. I didn’t know that – but once I started watching this, I couldn’t stop. It is about a series of murders (always murders) in Wyoming. The Country Sheriff (Walt Longmire) is a widow struggling to get over the death of his wife. Assisted by his team and his lawyer daughter, they investigate all the major murders in the Wyoming area.

Best Part: Great story – although when you write it down, it doesn’t sound that way.

Worst Part: Wish it wasn’t always a murder they were trying to solve…
